    Who Can Apply?<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

    • Visual artists age 18 or older from any country.<\/li>\n
    • Artists working in all mediums, including: painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, collage, jewelry, photography, mixed media, clay, fiber, glass, wood, printmaking, metal and others. We do not<\/strong><\/em> accept art created using artificial intelligence.<\/li>\n
    • Previously featured artists, if your original feature was published three or more years ago<\/strong><\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Rules & Guidelines<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

      Artists are juried by viewing their online portfolios, not by uploading images! <\/strong><\/em>Acceptance is based upon review of the artist\u2019s application, their website and\/or social media pages where artwork is shown. Images of art should be clear and professional.<\/p>\n

      This is a competitive juried opportunity; not all artists will be accepted. A nonrefundable application fee of $25 applies.<\/strong><\/em> This application fee is the only fee charged, selected artists pay nothing else.<\/p>\n

      All applicants will be notified of the results of their submission by email within two weeks of the deadline.<\/p>\n

      Selected artists must submit images and written material for their individual portfolio article within one month of notification of acceptance.<\/p>\n

      Applicant affirms that all artwork submitted for consideration is their own original work, and permits Artsy Shark to display their images in an article published on our website. Applicant agrees that images of their work may be used elsewhere to promote their featured article, such as social media platforms and email newsletters, or as an example of a featured artist. All images used in artist features are the property of the artist and the artist retains the sole copyright.<\/p>\n
